“happy birtday” to my self!  time flies!  Haha

I could say, this is the best year of my life (so far)! I’ve been through a lot of things that I couldn’t imagine before.  There’s so much extremely “happiness” moment, but also “nightmare” moments. What matter is, that “nightmares” bring me to next level!

I’m addicted to dramas! It’s in my vain, honestly I hate it but I love it somehow. haha. Being old (should I say “mature”) is not that easy. I couldnt share my problems here, in this blog anymore. Somehow, the problems getting complicated, and you’re the one who should/could  fix this, by yourself.

Well, It’s time to recap all my resolution last year (you can find it here ).

Resolution version 2.3

1. having a superb journey with best mate! (it could be anywhere!)

CHECK! I did this! I went to a “finding neverland journey” with 3 of my best friends. In 2 weeks we explored Bali and Gili Trawangan! We learned so much from this journey! I spent the night in 45k motel, shared stories with another backpacker from all around the world, snorked with baby turtle, used public “dirty” transportation and much more!! haha. It was so awesome. read it here.

2. win a lottery!

I’m not sure I win a lottery last year. haha, so this is UNCHECK

3. get a tattoo!

CHECK! I got a tattoo!! haha, “DREAMER” tattoo on my waist. Should I tell you the reason?  I’m always a dreamer.

4. watching my first TV commercial together with my family!

CHECK! Last year, I worked at Semut Api, an Advertising Agency. My team made this “KPR BCA” short TVC. Finally, a TVC!

5. learn YOGA!

UNCHECK! Dang! I couldnt do this last year. But there still another year to learn yoga!

6. start a business with best mate!

CHECK! “OWLSOME PROJECT” is a specialize in outdoor pre wedding photography, we offer photography service for both nationally or internationally. Our vision is fully creative with a loveable price! It’s almost 8 months since the day we decided to make this project seriously. Lots of fun, creative challenge, and superb experience! We are still growing, watch out people!! 7. choose a religion!

CHECK! I finally found GOD! Its just happened in 3 week-ish. I finally realize that I need “something” to hold on through a bad times. It’s not somebody. It’s GOD. There’s something happened in my life which is the most difficult problem in my entire life! I felt LOST, and I don’t have any idea what would happen if I don’t find GOD soon. So, Alhamdulillah I found you GOD.

8. receiving Award!

hmm…I’m not sure with this “awards” means. But, Owlsome Project article published in several magazine in the last couple months! so, I think it’s an awards! so… CHECK!

9. share a dream with ‘someone’ under the sky full of stars.

UNCHECK.. haha, dont even start to talk about LOVE LIFE. haha. Maybe next year?

10. Fun charity!!!

UNCHECK.. I haven’t do some “fun” charity like I did on 2000, theres too much “dramas” this year, haha But I’ll try next year!

Ok, so I decided to go to Taman Sari, I never been there before, Interesting place!

after that I explored the underground mosque, how cool is that!

Another place which made me amazed is Ullen Sentalu! A javanese museum with “cool” concept, they made it like a trip! First we entered the forest, go underground, mystical garden, and a poison makes you younger! *too bad no cameras allowed inside the museum.

I’m in a very good mood today, back to hometown and met my family and my bestfriend!’

The last couple days, Me and my sister went to 1st Indonesian Hot Air Balloon Festival! This was a must event for me, because I had a dream someday I should take a picture surrounded by AIR BALLOON as the background!’

so, we DID it!

Actually, I’m doing it right now.

I’m turning off  my blackberry for almost 2 days, I don’t want to meet anyone but me,  I just want to be alone.  So, I try to enjoy my “loneliness”. I went to local restaurant named Payon at Kemang, a cozy place, very javanese, not to crowded and off course that’s really what I need at this moment. I amazed with the MENU, they made it like a javanese door!  And I chose “Nasi Uleg” for the main course.  It was raining outside and I liked it.

Anyway, Welcome back to my self! I’ve been gone for a while, I guess I should say I was sleeping and dreaming for almost 3 months! damn. And then I realize, I should keep record a tons “moments” of my amazing life. So here I am, writing this post again. Let’s say, I’m dreaming with my eyes opened.

Where Do I Start? Many things happened.

Ok, maybe I start from the common question “how’s life?”

My life is great!  lots of dramas (I love drama), I lost 7kgs, got a new hair cut, doing photography project with my close friends, I bought a new lense for my camera (and still want to buy fish eye lens), my house is getting renovate, I bought a new best friend called blackberry onyx,  big owlcity fans, tweeting most of time, and of course I’m still single. yes, single, but I’m in love. haha!

well, maybe that’s enough for the  “welcome back” post. I should watch American Idol right now. (still!) haha…

I’m not really an art person. I can not  judge a sculpt, or I cant really understand a painting. But I do love taking pictures. I have a new friend, her name is Aryca. She’s quite girly, but she has a gut to get underwater, Pink is her favorite color and she has 4 eyes. Sometimes she’s flashing if she thinks its to dark around her.

Aryca and I took a journey together around Bandung and Lombok. Maybe we’re becoming best friend soon.

So, after I resigned from my job a month ago.. I was planning to have a journey. A “finding my self” journey. Well, it’s turns out to be “finding ourselves” journey because 3 of my friends came along.

The journey started in October 23rd, Bali was our destination! We flew from Bandung and took 1,5 hours on the plane. First thing, we had to find a motel. We already discussed that the price of the motel should be less than 100k/room. After 1 hour, we found a nice motel in Jalan Poppies II which cost 45k/person! The motel called “Sari Indah”. A very lovely place, we made friends with another motel guest such as Kelly and Bertrand from France, Cecillia and Diah from Bandung, not to mention the owner, a very nice guy, Dewa!

We had a very good time in Legian! Sun bathing on Kuta Beach, eating local food, shopping, strolling, and of course Clubbing. Haha! I’m not really a “club person” but when it comes to Bali, people said you have to try it! So I tried! 3 biggest clubs in Bali which are DoubleSix, Mbargo, and Cloud27! Every club showed different crowd, haha. Double Six is Okay, but Mbargo? way too much for me! and the best is Cloud27 beach party. I was very excited, the people was cool, the DJ, and the venue is amazing! Ok, enough with all clubbing things.

In the 5th day, we went to Gili Trawangan! Gili Trawangan is a small island with a stunning beach near Nusa Tenggara Barat. It tooks 12 hours to get there from Kuta! (I know!) haha, so, the shuttle bus picked us up at 6AM and then we drove to padang bay harbor. We took Ferry Boat to Lombok, and the last we had to take a public boat from Lombok to Gili Trawangan. A very long journey in one day! Anyway, we made some friends from this trip. Patrick and Uncle Klauss from Germany,  Pattina from Switzerland, and Maarten from Deutch! Together we explored the island! haha. we were snorkeling with a turtle (how cool is that!), enjoying a very beautifull sunset, and eating some local food (I love plecing kangkung)!

We only spent 2 nights in Gili, and then we moved back to Bali. This time we wanted to find some peace of mind in Ubud! Ubud is very different from Kuta, Legian. Lots of art gallery and traditional dances. Not to mention the weather is good, not as hot as in Kuta. In Ubud, we went to Ubud market, Monkey Forest, and Tegalalang! FYI, Julia Roberts is in Ubud that time, making movie called “Eat, Love and Pray”, but too bad, I couldnt meet her. haha..  and there’s a little tragedy in Ubud. On my second day in Ubud, my eyes swallen! very very bad. and I have to go to the hospital! luckily, doctor said it’s just infection and I’ll fine. Fiuh, theres always yin and yang. haha.

I know it’s too damn long story, but I keep it short here, haha. This is my longest holiday ever! 2 weeks! I got a lot of new experience, meet interesting people from around the world, and knows how to deal with local people, how to bargain, how to find a nice and cheap motel, and off course the local food! Now, I have to work and save some money for my next journey! yiha.

Setelah menghilang hampir 2 bulan, here I am, back as always.

Tanggal 12 September lalu, sahabat gw dari kecil yang bernama Cindy memutuskan untuk pergi ke Beijing, China. Rencananya, dia akan melanjutkan study di sana selama kurang lebih 1 tahun. Ga mudah tentunya ditinggalkan seorang sahabat. Cindy biasanya selalu ada untuk ngobrol, lari pagi, ke supermarket, makan malem, berwisata dan masih banyak lagi kegilaan yang kadang dia sendiri bertanya “kok bisa main sama kalian?”

Tapi dibalik semua kesedihan itu, Gw pribadi mendukung lo 100% Cindy Halim. Go out there, and see the world differently!
